Our Origins

Sealed By Ink Paranormal was built from a lifetime of experiences that couldn’t be explained, ignored, or forgotten.

Founded by husband and wife investigators Mason and Tess Blake, the team is rooted in more than curiosity; it comes from encounters that left permanent marks. The kind that follow you. The kind that change how you see the dark, silence, and the spaces in between.

Mason’s connection to the paranormal began early, shaped by experiences that blurred the line between imagination and reality. What started as childhood awareness became a lifelong pursuit to understand what lingers in places, in people, and in memory. For over twenty years, he has investigated haunted locations, private homes, and forgotten spaces across the country; searching not for spectacle, but for truth.

Tess’s path was different, but just as personal. Drawn to the emotional weight behind hauntings, she developed a sensitivity to environments and the stories attached to them. Her investigations are guided by empathy and intuition; the belief that many hauntings are not about fear, but about unfinished emotion, trauma, and echoes of lives that refuse to fade.

Together, they form a partnership that balances instinct and method, emotion and observation. Their work is not about chasing ghosts for entertainment. It’s about documenting what remains. Listening to what lingers. Standing in places most people avoid and asking the questions others won’t.

The name Sealed By Ink represents the permanence of experience. Like tattoos, encounters with the unknown leave impressions that never fully disappear. Every investigation becomes a mark carried forward, a reminder that some moments, some places, and some presences stay with you long after you leave.

Their work spans historic sites, private cases, abandoned structures, and locations tied to tragedy, folklore, and the unexplained. But the heart of what they do is human. Behind every haunting is a story. Behind every story is emotion. And sometimes, behind that emotion… is something watching back.

Sealed By Ink Paranormal exists in that space between fear and understanding.

They do not investigate to prove the paranormal is real.

They investigate because they’ve experienced it—and once you’ve felt it, you don’t walk away unchanged.

This isn’t just research.

It’s memory.

It’s loss.

It’s curiosity.

It’s the quiet realization that we may never be as alone as we think.

And sometimes, the things in the dark aren’t the dead
